    Mason County Schools will open with the in-person option on Sept. 28th. New guidance requires use of a mask at all times. Enforcement will be more stringent in the hallways than the classrooms. If you wish to change your original choice (in-person or 100% virtual), you should contact your child’s school no later than September 14th. Students, their families, employees, potential employees and the general public of the Mason County Schools are hereby notified that the Mason County School System does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin, sex/gender, age, religion, marital status, or disability in employment programs, vocational programs, or activities as set forth in compliance with federal and state statutes and regulations. 


The Mason County School System offers the following career and technical education programs for all students in grades 9-12 regardless of race, color, national origin, including those with limited English proficiency, sex or disability:  Agriculture (Animal Systems,  Horticulture, and Plant Science), Family and Consumer Sciences (Culinary Arts, Consumer & Family Management, Fundamentals of Teaching, Child Development), Army ROTC, Business (Information Processing and Multi-Media), and Technology Concepts. The following career and technical courses are also available to students:  Auto Technology, Collision Repair, Electricity, Health Services, Machine Shop, Business Technology, and Welding.  All students, grades 9-12, who are enrolled in the Mason County School System, have access to these programs.  The lack of English language skills will not be a barrier to admission and participation in vocational education programs.  Persons seeking further information concerning the vocational education offerings and specific pre-requisite criteria should contact:
